The beginning of the second years installment and reflections on the same subject.
Interesting............
Ive not found much more at the moment, being a broad subject, i dont quite know where to start.
Creativity is everywhere, its everything and anyting. This is where the problem beings. Well not so much a problem, but thats where the question starts.
You are creative from a baby in theory. Your always learning and creating new sounds and movements with your own body, and to me even that is being creative based on the fact that your a baby, and no nothing more than breathing, blinking, crying and shitting.
Creativity is defined as:
"Creativity (or creativeness) is a mental process involving the generation of new ideas or concepts, or new associations between existing ideas or concepts."
I thought about how else creativity is descirbed, so i got out the good old Thesaurus. Heres what it came up with:
Cleverness
Genius
Imagination
Ingenuity
Inspiration
Inventiveness
Originality
Resourcefullness
Talent
Vision
When you think of things like genius, you dont acssociate it with being creative, On initial though, would you say that Einstein wa a genius? or just clever in the way in which he thought. This shows that Scientific discoveries and mathematical solution and explanations can also be seen as being creative, instead of just plain nerdy!
Dorye Roettger, an American author said:
"There are no problems - only opportunities to be creative."
Thus also stating that nothing is a problem, and being creative would solve that. backing up my previous notion that science is also creativity.
Thinking of that, without being creative and thinking ill shove this liquid chemical into this one and experimenting with what happened, how would we know that some explode, some burn and some just do nothing? Without creativity in science, how would we know about prosthetic limbs? OK so that began with an idea, but a creative one at most. Ideas are the innermost form of creativity. Ones in which you can think of, but dont need to share....
