September has begun....Summer is over

So lets not waste time and lets start packing!!

Its been a long summer and i will be the first person to admit that. I didnt get a job untill August so not a lot was done during June and July. MOst weekdays were spent tidying or cleaning or doing some 3D modelling or something to that degree, however.....

My cousin moved ohouse and the week before she moved in i kindly took time out and painted the whole house. I was an interoior decorator for a week. Picking the colours and doing all the work to go with it. I quite enjoyed it actually. Ppssible career option there.....?

To keep myself a little more occupied i met up with some old friends over summer. Ive seen Tim and Louise on many seperate occasions, as well as Joel and then a friendly trip to Leicester for the weekend was a treat!

Made a big difference to my normal weekend of...sitting.

In between those times, ive met u8p with an old friend in London and walked around Londond, did the sightseeing thing and went well out if my way to get somewhere by foot. Typical blonde moment there.

After that, i had my Flatmate Debbie to stay. We went to see the Lion King in the theatres and to a Ben & Jerrys festival, all accompanied by Louise. That was an awesome weekend if ij might say so myself. As much free Ben & Jerrys as you can imagine!

It was good times. That was split over weekends and such but the pennys soon began to dwindle.

Mum offered me a job along the way which was nice of her. Its convenient she does half of the hiring and firing and that for the past 2 yars, there has been the call for a 'temporary worker' in her office.

Its a nice feeling, earning a lot of money ha ha.

Now to pay off the new computer.......

Ive done the odd pieces of drawing and perspective practise here and there. Alongside continuing to model my Friends Set and do another Avatar. i struggled with the face again, but i think i did the body okay. I'm in the middle of texturing both projects now so i will see how much i get done before uni starts.

I finish work this week, so it gives me about 3 weeks before term starts. All is good. I also have to pack alkl my stuff and make sure its ready before i return to Leicester. Ahead of both my parents and consequently, my belongings.

I'm lookin forward to startin a new uni year. Well in actual fact, our final year.

To an extent doing my own projects and graduating. Its what coems after which scares me a little. The thought of, in effect, having a 9-5 job doesnt appeal to me that much right now, but im going to have to get used to that idea and fast.

Judging by how fast 2nd year has gone, i can imagine our 3rd, and final year whizzing by like the speed of light. Its a slghtly depressing thought as i will miss the uni life, and the people in it.

It will be wierd being in full time work and no in full time education as, well, thats all all of us have known for the most part untill graduation dawns next year.
