Games.....and stuff!!!

Recently....although i didnt play them much in the month or so before i came to uni...i have really missed my playstation and xbox....i suppose i was a bit wrapped up in sorting things out and seeing my family and friends before i moved to sit play them. Trouble is, i want to bring them back with me so i can play them as i please but i dont want to have to fork out for a tv license :(
Doing this course at uni has made me wonder why i like games so much....truth be told im not quite sure, I suppose it could be that i got my first family computer at the age of 5...back in the day when PC's ran in DOS mode, you had to load up windows as a seperate application and you had to know the codes and such to load the games. Back in the day when they were crappy quality (compard to todays) but seemed to be the best things going at that time. Lemmings, Duke Nukem, Prince Of Persia all games which i played back then...and still play now just on a better console with better graphics.
Knowing i have spent my whole life playing games and now learning how to create them (so to speak) seems a bit daunting sometimes.....but all the same it seems like one of the best decisions i have made in my life...and believe me ive made some bad ones! Also....being one fo only eight girls makes it feel a bit strange sometimes...but kind of cool at the same time! i was expecting a male dominated course but i an determined to suceed as good as the guys.......and im sure the other girls are just as keen.........
