Creativity: Part Blog, Part Conclusion

Ah, coming back to the subject of creativity after a weeks break (or something like that).

As i am doing this, i am watching the DVD of Robin Hood....the Walt Disney version. Thinking about it, its great how they have taken a story and interpreted it using many woodland animals and created a whole new world, yet stuck to the story line which everybody knows and loves!
Thats being creative, the way they have interpreted the story.

Then of course there is Robin Hood: Men in tights, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, the new BBC Series and probably many more in which i cannot think of or haven't mentioned. Its one of the most famous stories in the world and yet its been done differently every time, but run around the exact same story.

I'm a little unsure about how to close off this subject matter. There is so much to talk about and explore, i'm finding i difficult to draw it to a close.

Well im going to try and draw this to a close now, Even though it is quite late, but im waiting for a painting to dry so i thought i might as well finish it off.

After studying creativity, its made me think about different things and general life areas which involve a lot of disguised creativity. Such as science. You lot may not agree with me but i think it is. If people didnt have the creativity and initiative to mix things together we wouldn't have half of the things which we have today.

Creativity is in each and every one of us everyday, whether we can recognize it or not. There are so many ways which creativity is discouraged, and less as to why its encouraged. School tend to squander creativity and focus on more academic subjects but to many, this is wrong.

I feel that creativity needs to be supported and released, and if i ever have children, i will encourage their creativeness from a very young age which i think all parents and schools should do. If a child excels in it it should be supported. It will make the world a better place

:)

And thats it!!!
